CALIFORNIA ACADEMY OF SCIENCES | San Francisco, CA | Exhibit Project Coordinator | 02/2019 – 06/2020

  • Managed and coordinated multiple exhibitions of varying sizes concurrently throughout all phases of the project life cycle, tracking exhibit development process and keeping project teams focused on deliverables and milestones
  • Developed detailed multi-year project schedules to outline larger project phases at a glance
  • Redesigned and employed daily installation schedules for daily use by preparators, registrars, electricians, A/V specialists, and installation team
  • Implemented weekly installation logistics floor plans – visually articulating major activity to installation team, vendors, contractors and other Academy departments accessing active installation spaces
  • Coordinated directly with installation manager, registrar, and shipping vendors to develop refined shipping and installation schedules for The World’s Largest Dinosaurs traveling exhibition (American Museum of Natural History)

  • Coordinated exhibition installation activity with both core Exhibitions and cross-functional project teams, including general installation, registration/courier, vendor, artist/gallery presence, graphic design, and photography
  • Devised weekly in-gallery installation floor plans for installation team as well and building-wide axonometric diagrams articulating major installation and deinstallation activity for weekly, museum-wide internal distribution
